The 90 Day Fiancé star Angela Deem may have had a 100-pound weight loss transformation and plastic surgery makeover, but she is still using absurd filters on Instagram, and her tweaked photos and clips are annoying fans. Angela, who’s currently starring in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7, has kept her relationship status with husband Michael Ilesanmi under wraps. Angela and Michael got married in January 2020, but there’s been no news of his visa being approved, or him coming to the U.S. Fans are fairly certain that Michael has split with Angela, but there’s no way to confirm it because of Angela’s filter obsession.
Angela started her weight loss journey on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, when she got a gastric sleeve surgery, along with liposuction and a breast reduction. After she lost a lot of weight, Angela, who used to be at 273 pounds, started to look very different. To change the look of her face, Angela also got a facelift and a breast lift. She's had multiple plastic surgery procedures, and has plans to get a butt lift. Recently, fans watched Angela undergo a painful procedure, teeth implants, on 90 Day Diaries.

However, Angela doesn’t seem satisfied with the way she looks, despite the weight loss and cosmetic procedures. She is always changing the way that she styles her hair, and how she dresses. Fans are sure that Angela uses heavy make-up filters because she’s not happy with her transformation. They want her to love herself enough to post "real" photos on Instagram, and her followers would likely be inspired by those pictures. There are comments about how no filters can fix Angela’s personality, which fans began to loathe after watching her on the show. Is Angela’s love of filters getting a bit out of hand, and is she in need of a filter "intervention"?
Fifty six-year-old reality TV star Angela has been using the word “Queen” a lot in her newer Instagram captions, for reasons unknown. She has also been trying out different Goth makeup filters, such as this one, which she used for a June 21 Reel post. Angela wrote, “OKK OKKK I LIKE I LIKE,” referring to the look of the filter, which gave her smokey eye makeup and multiple piercings around her lips and nose. Someone called Angela a “Wicked witch,” and a different fan told Angela, “That is frightening!” Fans also asked Angela to “take it off,” in case any of the “ridiculous” makeup on her face was real. However, Angela seemed to like the filter enough to actually get herself a Monroe piercing a month later.
At the start of 2022, 90 Day Fiancé celeb Angela posted a message about, “love peace and happiness” for her followers, by sharing a video of her face with another bizarre filter. Angela’s ice-themed look, complete with frozen eyelashes (and eyebrows with a crown made of crystals) didn’t make any sense to her fans, and actually scared them. A worried fan told Angela, “Oh please. Stop!” While some people asked Angela to act her age, a few wanted to know if she even checks the videos she’s filmed before posting them. “At least get the filter straight,” another fan said in the comments, adding that the filter didn’t even merge properly with Angela’s lips, which had a dark mark. The lip issue prompted concerns about her health.
Fans have been waiting for Angela to give them an update about Michael. However, instead, all she shares on Instagram are videos of her face. Angela’s content has become similar to another 90 Day Fiancé icon, Darcey Silva, who uses similar filters, despite a history of plastic surgery procedures on her face. “Angela you are an old woman, try to accept this,” a fan wrote to her, with a request for her to stop hiding her real face. Someone compared her to a teenager, thinking that the pictures and clips made her seem clingy and desperate. Fans have been asking Angela to stop using filters, as they want her to showcase more important things on her platform. However, it doesn’t look like Angela plans to change.
